Gone are the days when HR leaders were considered as people responsible for making rangoli or ordering birthday cakes for employees. A Deloitte research “2021 Global Human Capital Trends” shows that 55 per cent of the respondents believe that HR would substantially or radically change within the next 12 to 18 months.
No doubt, the pandemic has brought massive escalating changes into the roles of HR. Tremendous new responsibilities emerged for HR professionals.
There’s a lot of talk about HR reinventing itself into new-age titles such as Genetic Diversity Officer, HR Data Detective, WFH Facilitator, Human Bias Officer and Director of Wellbeing.
