Pay People Right. Build a Business That Lasts.
Compensation & Benefits designed for growing businesses — competitive, compliant, and aligned with your people strategy.
Build salary structures, benefits and reward systems that attract the right talent, control costs and stay aligned with India’s evolving labour framework.
The Problem
For a growing business, compensation is more than deciding a salary.
Unstructured pay can create salary inconsistencies, compliance gaps, rising payroll costs and employee dissatisfaction.
Common challenges include:
As your team grows, these gaps become harder and more expensive to fix.
Career Creed helps startups and growing companies create a compensation system that works for both business and employees. We help you structure:
Create clear and consistent salary components based on roles, levels and business budgets.
Compare compensation with relevant market practices to stay competitive without overpaying.
Design performance-linked incentives that connect employee rewards with business outcomes.
Review and structure benefits such as allowances, insurance, leave-linked benefits and other employee offerings.
Identify inconsistencies in compensation for similar roles and responsibilities.
Create practical guidelines for salary revisions, promotions, incentives and benefits.
Is Your CTC Structure Ready for the New Labour Framework?
Compensation structures now need closer attention to the statutory definition of “wages.”
Under the Code on Wages, wages include basic pay, dearness allowance and retaining allowance, while several other components are excluded subject to the statutory rules. The Code also provides a 50% threshold mechanism for certain excluded components when calculating wages.
The goal is not simply to change the salary breakup. It is to build a compensation structure that is commercially practical and legally aligned.
Note: Applicability and treatment can vary based on employee category, establishment, state rules and the applicable provisions in force.
